Midland, Texas — Several Midland teenagers were arrested earlier this week following an undercover surveillance operation that targeted gang members allegedly in possession of stolen firearms. The arrests took place on July 17 and included 17-year-old Isaiah Rodriguez, who has been charged with Theft of a Firearm. Other individuals arrested include 19-year-old Aaron Navarrete, 17-year-old Aiden Navarrete, and 17-year-old Jacob Stroud.
The operation, conducted by the Midland Police Department, aimed to crack down on illegal firearm possession and gang-related activities in the area. The investigation led to the recovery of multiple stolen guns, contributing to ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and reduce crime in Midland.
A spokesperson for the Midland Police Department commented, "These arrests are a significant step in our ongoing efforts to combat gang violence and illegal firearm possession in our community. We appreciate the public's assistance and encourage anyone with additional information to come forward."
