Midland City Council Approves Personnel Changes in City Attorney’s Office

Midland, Texas — The Midland City Council has approved critical leadership changes within the City Attorney’s Office, setting the stage for a strategic transition aimed at enhancing the city’s legal oversight and governance.

In a decision reached during the recent council meeting, John Ohnemiller, a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience serving Midland, has been appointed Special Counsel for the City of Midland.

This new role will allow Ohnemiller to provide focused legal guidance in a specialized advisory capacity, ensuring continuity of expertise while adapting to the city’s evolving needs.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Toulet-Crump has been named Interim City Attorney, stepping into a leadership position designed to maintain stability and effective legal management within the City Attorney’s Office.
