The Carrasco Chronicle Wishes You a Merry Christmas and Shares a Message of Hope
Dear Supporters, Friends, and Community,
As we celebrate the joy and wonder of the holiday season, The Carrasco Chronicle sends our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. May this time of year bring peace, hope, and togetherness to all.
The Christmas season reminds us of the beauty of giving, faith, and renewal. As Luke 2:14 says, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” This message of hope inspires us to carry forward even in challenging times. Similarly, the story of the Wise Men reminds us of the importance of giving and seeking the light, as reflected in Matthew 2:10-11: “When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him.”
For those celebrating Hanukkah, we honor the Festival of Lights—a story of resilience and triumph over adversity. It reminds us all of the miracles that are possible when we persevere. For those celebrating Kwanzaa, we recognize its principles of unity, self-determination, and collective work, which resonate deeply with the values of community journalism.
And of course, let us not forget the joy and magic that Santa Claus brings this season. His spirit of generosity and kindness embodies the heart of Christmas. Much like Santa’s promise to deliver joy, we at The Carrasco Chronicle strive to deliver truth and progress to our community, page by page.
This past year has been filled with highs and lows. We’re incredibly proud to have made it a full year as a company, staying true to our vision of “creating new things one page at a time.” Yet, like many small businesses, we’ve faced financial hardships that have limited our ability to grow and deliver as consistently as we’d like.
Currently, our website is down—not just due to financial constraints, but because we are working to revamp and improve it. Our print edition has been paused, but we remain determined to bring our newspaper to gas stations across Midland and Fort Stockton. We aim to create a vibrant digital platform and a print edition that truly reflects our motto: “United in truth, driven by progress.”
This is where we humbly ask for your support. If the spirit of the season moves you, we invite you to consider helping us. Whether through a donation or spreading the word about our mission, your generosity could make a world of difference.
To inquire about donations or other ways to support us, please contact us at thecarrascopublishingco@gmail.com, or direct message us on Facebook or any of our social media platforms. You can also reach out directly to our CEO and publisher via email.
The holiday season reminds us that we are stronger together. Whether through the light of a menorah, the principles of Kwanzaa, or the joy of Christmas morning, the message is the same: hope endures, love unites, and generosity lifts us all.
Thank you for standing by us, for reading our stories, and for being a part of this journey. Together, we can continue creating new things one page at a time and making progress, united in truth.
From our family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa, and a New Year filled with blessings, hope, and peace. May the magic of this season inspire us all.
With heartfelt gratitude and holiday cheer,
The Carrasco Chronicle Team
